University of Cape Town, Teaching and Learning Conference 2024




‘This year’s Teaching and Learning Conference, themed 'All About Curriculum: New Visions and Future Directions', is dedicated to reimagining  curriculum in higher education, focusing on creating responsive and inclusive educational practices in the face of current global challenges.’

UCTs Teaching and Learning Conference was a bustling two days, 20-21 November at the Neville Alexander School of Education, filled with inspiring presentations. The UCT Designing for Social Justice Partnership project partners had the opportunity to discuss their projects in the form of a roundtable discussion. Esai and Joe-Dean alongside Daniela, presented on the inception of the DSJP project and its impact on curricula. The partner projects discussed what it means to them to be in a Student-Staff partnership. 

The presentation was well received and highlighted by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mosa Moshabela in his closing speech. 

UCTs Teaching and Learning conference marked a way forward for higher education curricula.
